TINKUY RESTAURANT: (Peruvian/international food)

The best location, situated right at the entrance of Machu Picchu citadel.

This restaurant is the only option for a sit down meal whilst visiting Machu Picchu. All other restaurants are located in Aguas Calientes town.

It is a high quality buffet restaurant.

There are 2 large self-serve counters that include a selection of appetizers, 4 main courses, and several dessert options. Bread, salads and pasta side dishes are also on offer. Coffee, herbal teas and soft drinks are also available at a smaller drinks stand to the rear.

CAFÉ INKATERRA: (Peruvian /International food)

This restaurant sets in a beautiful stone and adobe building with a tall triangular shaped moss-covered roof, Café Inkaterra is certainly the most charming building in Aguas Calientes town. It is part of the luxury Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel. The set menu (with several delicious options) includes entrees, main dishes and desserts, all which are priced individually. During high season a reservation is recommended.

It is a small up-market restaurant. The restaurant which is decorated entirely of lightly coloured wooden panels, with wooden tables, chairs floors has a classy but relaxed atmosphere about it.
