Our representative will be waiting for you at Lima´s airport, upon your arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel in an appropriate vehicle. The transfer time from Lima´s airport to Lima town lasts almost 1 hour.

Overnight in Lima

DAY 2: LIMA – CITY TOUR (half day)

Leisure morning.

In the afternoon, the guide will meet you at the hotel to start the guided tour of Peru´s capital – Lima (known as the city of the kings).

The guide will take you into the Historic Center of Lima to visit the Main Square or “Plaza de Armas” where the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Cathedral and Town Hall are located. You will then proceed to visit San Francisco Church, a masterpiece of Colonial architecture preserving the best examples of Colonial religious art in America.

Then, you will visit the Magic Water Circuit; it has become one of the newest and most visited attractions in Lima. Honored with a Guinness Record and unique in America, this circuit offers thirteen impressive fountains that combine movement, lights, sounds and images and laser effects in perfect union and harmony to present an incredible and unique shows full of magic, excitement and fantasy.

Return to the hotel.

Overnight in Lima


Depending of your flight time, transfer to Lima`s airport for your flight to Cusco.

Flight to Cusco, at Cusco´s airport you will be contacted by the guide who will transfer you to the Sacred Valley of the Incas located lower than Cusco city, which will help you in the acclimatization.

The first stop will be in the small village of Pisac, where you will visit its lively typical market and have some free time to interact with the townsfolk and artisans and to shop for handicrafts and souvenirs.

Finally, transfer to the hotel.

Overnight in the Sacred Valley:


This day, you will visit Ollantaytambo which is one of the most beautiful, and significant sites in the entire Cusco region. It is a very interesting, and typical pueblo with extensive, well preserved Inca ruins; crowned by the sacred archaeological site with its impressive temple of the sun.

At midday you will be transferred to Ollantaytambo train station to board the Vistadome train which will take you to Aguas calientes town (1 ½ hours); this scenic train ride is considered one of the most beautiful in the world.

Overnight in Aguas Calientes:


Very early, you will take the bus to up to Machu Picchu citadel. Today, you will have a full-day handicapped tour of this new wonder of the world. The guided and trained assistants will lead you through this Inca citadel, following a specially designed circuit; you will receive valuable information on the history of the Incas, the significance of the specific functions of the buildings, purpose of this ancient lost city; you will have the enough time to appreciate Machu Picchu and take magnificent pictures. Time to have the lunch.

After lunch, you will be brought back down to Aguas Calientes town to board the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our private transport will be waiting for you.

Transfer to Cusco, accommodation at the hotel.

Overnight in Cusco


Leisure morning.

In the afternoon, the guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you on a soft half day tour of Cusco. You will start visiting the main square surrounded by magnificent colonial buildings, the Cathedral, the Koricancha which was the most important temple of the Inca culture; it was dedicated to worship the sun.

Finally you will visit the archaeological sites of Sacsayhuaman and its impressive rocky constructions, followed by Puka Pukara and Tambomachay.

Return to the hotel.

Overnight in Cusco


After breakfast, you will drive toward the Andean village of Chinchero, whose main income comes from textiles. You will visit its textile and handicraft market, where you will have the chance to see the traditional weaving and dying techniques which have been kept by these local villagers for centuries.

After, you will be transferred to Moray, which are circled terraces that Incas took four enormous natural depressions in the landscape and sculpted them into several levels of agricultural terraces that served, hundreds of years ago, as an experimental agricultural station for the development of different strains of crops.

Between the bottom and top levels of Moray’s main depression, the scientist John Earls has recorded a full 15 degrees Celsius difference in temperature. So Incas adapted plants of the jungle or low climates to high altitude. At this place the picnic lunch will be served.

Continuing with the tour, you will visit Maras which is a “salt mines”, there are about 3000 small pools with an average area of 5 m² (53.8 ft²), constructed in a slope of the mountain. People fill up or “irrigate” the pools during the dry season every 3 days, with salty water emanating from a natural spring located on the top of the complex, so that when water evaporates the salt contained in it will slowly solidify. That process will be carried out approximately during one month. Return to the hotel.

Overnight in Cusco


Leisure morning.

PM: transfer to Cusco´s airport for your flight to Juliaca.

Upon arrival to Juliaca´s airport, reception and transfer to Puno (it will last 1 hour driving). Accommodation at the hotel.

Overnight in Puno:


The guide will pick you up from your hotel, to then take two-hour motor excursion on the Titicaca Lake, heading towards the unique Floating “Islands” of the Uros. The ancient inhabitants of the lake, known as the Water Tribe, have built their own “islands” by periodically adding new layers of a type of reed unique to the area called “Totora”. Their homes and boats are also made from this material.

After having experienced some of the ancient traditions of the local people, you will continue the motor boat trip to Taquile Island.  This Island is inhabited by Quechua-speaking natives still governed by their ancient traditions, whose main occupation is the production of ceramics and textiles. The positive energy of this island is so powerful that it is known as the “Love Island”.   Return to Puno.

Overnight in Puno:


Transfer to Juliaca´s airport for your flight to Lima, en route to Juliaca´s airport you will visit the Sillustani Chullpas (pre-Inca tombs, known as Chullpa which is a pre-Inca funerary stone tower originally constructed for a noble person or noble family). Sillustani is located on top of a small peninsula surrounded by the Umayo lagoon that gives the area an extraordinary contrast of colors and landscapes. Finally, arrival to Juliaca´s airport and check-in at the flight company counter.
